A little change on your average margarita. I think it’s safe to say that EVERYONE, or hopefully everyone loves margaritas.. frozen, on the rocks, with salt.. they taste good no matter what!
The way I order my margaritas really depends on what I’m eating at the time or if I’m eating. I usually order a frozen margarita after I am done eating (if I have room) or when I’m just hanging out with my friends having a few drinks. Typically, I will order a margarita on the rocks, with salt, when I am having dinner. I find that I get too full sometimes if I drink frozen margs before I eat (since I’m such a foodie).
Whenever I do drink frozen margaritas though, it’s in the summer time usually. But it’s always the same thing to choose from.. peach, mango or strawberry. Since I’ve been on such a watermelon kick lately, I wanted to create a non-typical frozen margarita, and this one was just absolutely perfect!
What you’ll need:
- ½ cup silver tequila
- ¼ cup triple sec
- ¼ watermelon pucker
- 2 cups ice
- 1/4 cup Jose Cuervo margarita mix
- Add to blender & serve in a chilled in margarita glass rimmed with salt and topped with a lime wedge!
